2. Description of Service

DashCrumbs is a smart home dashboard service that allows you to view and organize your SmartThings devices, connect third-party integrations such as Google Calendar, and share dashboards with others. The Service provides a read-only view of your connected devices and calendar data.

3. Account Registration

To use the Service, you must create an account with a valid email address. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

You agree to provide accurate information and to notify us promptly of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Third-Party Integrations

The Service connects to third-party platforms including Samsung SmartThings and Google Calendar. Your use of these integrations is also subject to the respective third-party terms of service and privacy policies.

You authorize DashCrumbs to access your data from these platforms as described in our Privacy Policy. You may disconnect any integration at any time from your settings.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
• Use automated systems to access the Service in a manner that exceeds reasonable use

6. Dashboard Sharing

The Service allows you to share dashboards with others via share links. You are responsible for managing who has access to your shared dashboards. Shared dashboards display real-time device states and calendar information that you have chosen to include.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, and branding, is the property of DashCrumbs. Your smart home data and calendar data remain your property. We claim no ownership over your data.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that device states displayed will always be accurate in real time. DashCrumbs is a dashboard and does not directly control your smart home devices.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, DashCrumbs shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, including but not limited to damages related to smart home device operation or calendar data accuracy.

10. Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. We will post the updated terms on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.
